Throughout the years of my work, I along with other people have developed many language resources and materials for Levantine Arabic. Some of these materials are visual (YouTube) videos that I have filmed/directed for the organizations I worked for; mainly for Peace Corps. Below are some of these resources.

This book introduces the basic grammar of Jordanian Levantine Arabic. It is designed for beginner students. At the same time, it helps intermediate and advanced speakers of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) to understand the morphological and syntactic structure of the Jordanian dialect.

  • Levantine Dialect of Arabic - Intermediate Conversation Manual/ Peace Corps.

This book introduces Jordanian Arabic to the beginner students who have no or little language background. It starts with the alphabet and focuses on the major themes that concern the daily life of students who live in Jordan.  The book aims at getting students to converse with ease at the intermediate level.

  • Levantine Dialect of Arabic - Advanced Conversation Manual/ Peace Corps.

This book is designed for the intermediate students who aim to converse at the advanced topics. It introduces situations and scenarios with complications that students have to deal with. It is also designed to help Peace Corps Volunteers working in the fields of education, health, and youth development.

  • Levantine Conversation Curriculum (Novice Mid – Advanced Low) /DCLCP

This book is designed for students at the novice level who has some language background in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). The book aims at moving students to the advanced level and transit them from MSA to the Levantine dialect.

In addition to these books, I have coordinated a project of developing an English-Arabic Jordanian Arabic dictionary, and many other resources and language activities.

During my work with Peace Corps/Jordan (2008 - 2014), I have developed a number of video language lessons that focus on grammar of Jordanian Arabic and some basic introductory greetings videos. These videos have been introduced by two instructors: Dr. Nizar Alseoudi and Ms. Batool Da'asan. You may have a full access to the lessons in my YouTube Channel. Here are some of the lessons below. My role in these videos was to co-develop the content of some of the lessons, film them, edit them, and publish them.
